Easts Leagues Club is proud to announce the launch of The Easts Big C Week, running from Monday 10 November to Saturday 15 November.
This special fundraising initiative will see our Club, members, and community come together to raise vital funds in support of Cure Cancer.
Join Easts Leagues Club as we host a range of special events throughout this week, with all donations and proceeds going towards Cure Cancer Australia.
- Monday, 10 Nov – Morning Melodies (Staff vs. Patrons Competition)
We start the Big C Week with music, fun and a friendly line dancing competition between staff and our amazing patrons (who will win?).
- Tuesday, 11 Nov – Big C Lunch and Dinner
Come dine at Easts for a purpose. Our Chef will be curating a special menu for lunch and dinner, with proceeds going towards Cure Cancer.
- Wednesday, 12 Nov – Big C Charity Luncheon (Hosted by Peter ‘Salty’ Psaltis) – BOOK TICKETS HERE
Hosted by the great Peter Psaltis, along with guest speaker Wendy Dean, this massive charity event includes a three-course lunch, three-hour beverage package with live entertainment & charity Bingo Beats.
- Thursday, 13 Nov – Big C Paint & Sip – BOOK TICKETS HERE
Calling all paint & sip lovers. This is your event! Enjoy a night of fun, creativity, live music and prizes with your gang. Tickets selling out fast!
- Friday, 14 Nov – Big C Market Day and at 7pm start of the Big C Walk in Reception
The 12hr Big C Walk will be undertaken by Easts staff, all who are committed and dedicated to raising funds & awareness for Cure Cancer. The Big C Walk is a community-driven endurance challenge where participants 15-20 participants rotate and walk continuously for 12 hours to raise vital funds and awareness for cancer research. This charity event will take place in the Easts reception area, where our members and guests can show support for our efforts. We are lucky enough to have treadmills supplied by Mr Treadmill, making sure every step of this charity walk is safe and reliable.
- Saturday, 15 Nov – Big C Sausage Sizzle and Cheque Presentation
We will conclude the Inaugural Easts Big C Week with a relaxed community sausage sizzle and official cheque handover to Cure Cancer. A morning to take in a big week and to reflect what we’ve accomplished as a club and community.
