Craig Geddes joined the Easts Leagues Club team in 2022 as Catering Manager. It all started many years ago for Craig, when his passion for food and the desire to create culinary art prompted him to roll up his sleeves and complete his apprenticeship in a leading French-style restaurant. His beginning years were spent in the country outskirts of Melbourne Victoria, where he particularly enjoyed retaining and increasing chefs’ hats, sourcing through local produce and even creating his own chefs garden.

 

Craig later moved to sunny Queensland and made Brisbane his home. Fast-track 20 years on and he can now add to his accomplishments, Catering for Football Season Launches, working at two of Brisbane’s leading Seafood Restaurants as well as a very upmarket Steak Restaurant, overseeing kitchen renovations, opening new food establishments and yes, ordering prawns by the tonne. Surprisingly calm when the orders roll in and the heat in the kitchen picks up, Craig will be sharing his experiences with the rest of the kitchen team and ensuring that his food expectations, consistency and delectable fine detail is closely followed in every meal presented.

 

He is the new man, bringing a new menu and a lot of good-food-experiences to our club, so place your order, sit-back and relax your next meal is in good hands.

Dinner: 5.30pm – 8.30pm (9.00pm on Friday and Saturday)
